Welcome to My Creative Pebbles Page

Working with natural pebbles, leather, and simple hand processes, this body of work explores the relationship between landscape, memory, and personal ritual.

Stones gathered from the earth carry histories of place, while leather wrapping or painting introduces a gesture of care and containment. The resulting forms function as contemporary memorial objects—small, tactile reminders of presence, absence, and continuity.

About Me

Hello and Welcome

My work explores memory, touch, and the quiet emotional weight carried by everyday objects. The series of leather-wrapped pebbles transforms simple stones—objects shaped slowly by water and time—into intimate memorial forms.

Pebbles have long fascinated artists because of their tactile quality and their connection to landscape and time. Their smooth shapes, formed by natural forces, invite the hand to hold them and contemplate their history. The pebble becomes a symbolic body—something that has endured weathering, travel, and transformation. The painting or wrapping the stone in leather adds a human gesture: protection, care, and containment.

Leather, a material associated with skin and memory, acts almost like a second surface holding the stone’s story. Each piece functions as a small memorial object. The painting or wrapping process is slow and deliberate, echoing ritual practices of binding, preserving, or honoring something precious. The finished forms sit somewhere between sculpture and personal relic—objects to be held, remembered, or contemplated. By combining natural stones with crafted leather, the work sits between nature and human intervention. The pieces ask viewers to consider how memory is carried in objects, how time shapes materials, and how simple gestures of making can transform an ordinary pebble into a quiet vessel of remembrance.
